Whirlwind Summer
Hello! I debated how we could communicate all that is going on with our family in a way that reached everyone interested. A blog seemed to be the easiest way so buckle up!
Most know at this point that we are building a new house. It's been a long time coming to say the least. Keven and I started looking at homes about two years ago. Then Zach came into the picture and I grew more restless to move but also stressed at the idea of moving while pregnant. So we held off on the search for a bit. Once the little man arrived, we started back up and happened upon a model home that sparked our interest. While we loved the home, it had a few details that we weren't in love with. This most likely will be our forever home so we weren't going to settle. Fortunately, there were lots in the same neighborhood for sale and since it's a custom builder, we can make our house look however we want. After MANY revisions to the plan, we signed the papers and have started on the adventure of building our family home.

Not much to see here but this is when we broke ground. Very exciting and surreal!

This is a rendering of our house (sort of). We will do a 3-car garage and will do two shake colors versus one.
